Earthkind logoEarth • Kind™ Approaches to Home Landscaping

The first step in creating a beautiful landscape is planning. All too often, this part of landscaping is overlooked. To have an effective and beautiful landscape, you need to take time up front to create a functional design.

The Earth-Kind Landscaping seven-night short course will walk your family through the steps of landscape planning and design, resulting in your own unique design that meets your needs. A variety of gardening topics beyond planning will be covered. All of the topics covered will take the “Earth-Kind Gardening” approach recommended by Texas AgriLife Extension Service. These recommended practices are designed to reduce yard waste, reduce fertilizers and pesticides, and conserve water.

The cost is $75, $20  per additional family member This tuition includes basic drafting materials, publications, and other supplies to help you draw your own personal landscape plan. The course schedule, topics, speakers, and homework lessons are in the table below.
